A practical introduction to nervous system education, Somatic Experiencing® principles, and somatic practices.
This workshop is designed for beginners who want to understand how stress and trauma affect their physical and emotional well-being, and learn simple ways to start regulating their nervous system.
Right now, you might be:
• Exhausted from holding everything together while quietly falling apart inside
• Overthinking every symptom, trying to fix what feels off but never finding lasting relief
• Anxious, tense, or unable to switch off even when you’re tired
• Feeling disconnected from your body, or overwhelmed when you do feel
• Wondering why doing all the “right” things still isn’t working
You may have heard terms like “nervous system regulation” or “Somatic Experiencing®” and felt curious, but unsure what they actually mean.
This is not a workshop for catharsis, reliving painful experiences, or trauma release.
This is about understanding first, and gently experiencing what regulation actually feels like in the body.
What we’ll explore:
• A beginner-friendly introduction to the autonomic nervous system and survival responses
• How stress, anxiety, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, and disconnection are linked to nervous system dysregulation
• Why you can’t think your way out of stress
• Simple Somatic Experiencing® principles to begin reconnecting with your body safely
• How to integrate these tools into everyday life so regulation becomes practical and sustainable

ABOUT NAOMI
Naomi Galinski, PhD, is a somatic trauma therapist, Somatic Experiencing® practitioner, CranioSacral therapist, and nervous system educator. She comes from a background in academia with a PhD in physics, the corporate world, and nearly a decade of recovering from chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, insomnia, IBS, and fibromyalgia.
She now combines her embodied experience of healing trauma and disrupting transgenerational patterns with her analytical mind to help high-functioning people reconnect with their bodies and experience emotional and physical well-being.
