One night at Hotel Tugu Bali that puts desks in classrooms, teachers in front of students and clean drinking water into remote villages in Flores.130 guests from Bali’s business, hospitality and philanthropic community, plus media. A freeflow reception from 6:00pm, a seated dinner, a live and silent auction of art and jewellery, a raffle, a cultural performance and a live band — backed by an island-wide advertising and social media campaign in the weeks before.

We work in some of the most under-served communities in Indonesia — currently in Flores — building schools, drilling clean water wells, and keeping classrooms actually running. It is a program of Yayasan Insan Guna Indonesia, a registered Indonesian foundation. All funds flow through the Yayasan, with an impact report to every sponsor after the event.

Funds from this evening go to desks, education materials, teachers’ salaries and clean drinking water.
