Let's Give Back to Bali: Cook for People in Need at our Community Kitchen

🙏🏻 We offer our volunteering events as paid cultural experiences, as volunteering in Indonesia is generally not permitted under immigration regulations (as it can be considered unauthorized work). Offering our Community Kitchen as a 50k Megatix activity allows everyone to participate while respecting Indonesia’s laws.

🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

💛 Let’s start the last day of the week with purpose, surrounded by kindhearted people, as we prepare 180 portions of Nasi Bungkus - a traditional Balinese meal - which we then distribute to underprivileged communities right here in the Bukit area of Bali.

Whether you love being active, enjoy playing with kids, or simply want to share laughter and positive energy — this is a wonderful way to connect, support the children, and be part of a fun and uplifting community.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

🔪 Hands-on veggie chopping – learn the basics and get creative in the kitchen

🍲 Cooking traditional Balinese dishes together – teamwork makes it delicious

🌶️ Preparing and packing our spicy sambal sauce – the hotter, the better!

🥡 Wrapping 180 food packages – supporting underprivileged communities with love

🌸 Sharing smiles and meeting amazing people – connection through kindness ❤️

To comply with Indonesian law, which doesn't allow volunteering, we offer our Community Kitchen as a paid Cultural Experience rather than a free volunteer event. This allows us to give back meaningfully, while respecting local regulations.

100% of the proceeds go directly to the non-profit charity programs of the Happiness Foundation, supporting local families in need right here in Bali.
